Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Meridian website. They explain how our published Oracle ULA content may be used, confirm our independence from Oracle, and set out the limits of the information we publish here.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing oracleulacertification.com you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may revise these terms from time to time, and the version published on this page is the one that applies. The date above shows when the terms were last changed.

Who we are

Meridian is an independent advisory firm that helps organisations manage Oracle Unlimited License Agreement certification, renewal, and audit defense. We work on the buyer side and carry no reseller relationship. Our positioning is independent, vendor neutral, and staffed by former Oracle licensing analysts. We maintain offices in New York and London.

Independence

Meridian is an independent advisory firm and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oracle Corporation. Oracle, ULA, and related marks are the property of their respective owners. Nothing on this site should be read as an Oracle statement or as Oracle guidance.

How you may use the content

The articles, guides, white papers, frameworks, and other material on this site are published for general information. You may read, print, and share individual pages for your own internal and non commercial use, with attribution to Meridian. You may not copy, republish, resell, or systematically extract the content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

The Meridian name, the meridian mark, our named frameworks, and the layout and design of this site are our property or are used under licence. Oracle product names and the terms Oracle, ULA, and PULA are the subject matter we write about and remain the property of their respective owners.

Is the information on this site advice for my situation?

No. The content here is general information about Oracle ULA mechanics, not advice tailored to your agreement. Oracle ULA outcomes depend heavily on the specific language in your contract, including the customer definition, the territory and entity scope, the product list, and any cloud and capped provisions. A point that holds for one agreement can be wrong for another.

Any figures we publish are indicative and are labelled as such. They illustrate how the mechanics tend to behave rather than promise a result for you. For a position you can rely on, you need an analysis of your own contract and your own deployment. We offer that through a confidential engagement.

No legal or financial advice

Meridian provides licensing advisory services. We are not your lawyers and we are not your auditors or accountants. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, or accounting advice, and reading it does not create an advisory relationship. For legal questions about your Oracle agreement you should consult qualified counsel, and for financial treatment you should consult your own advisers.

Links to other sites

Where we link to external resources, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their availability. A link is not an endorsement.

Limits on our liability

We take care to keep the content accurate and current, but we provide it on an as is basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meridian is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information published on this site. Decisions about your Oracle ULA should rest on a review of your own contract and deployment, not on general material.

Privacy and contact

We do not publish a public email address. If you want to reach us, please use the form on our contact page, which routes your message to our team securely. How we handle the information you submit is described in our privacy notice.

Governing approach and changes

These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of the site, are read in line with the laws that apply to Meridian in the jurisdiction where the relevant office operates. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update this page as our practice or the law changes, so please review it from time to time.
